Heat Treatment

Purpose: Relieves internal stresses, improves mechanical properties, and enhances material microstructure.
Types: Common heat treatments include annealing and stress relieving, which improve fatigue resistance and density.

Machining and CNC Finishing

Purpose: Achieves precise tolerances and smooth surfaces on critical features, such as threads, holes, and mating surfaces.

Surface Finishing and Polishing

Electrochemical Processes

Deburring and Micro Deburring

Ultrasonic Washing

Purpose: Ensures cleanliness by removing contaminants, making parts residue-free and ready for assembly or further processing.
Types: Ultrasonic cleaning, ideal for parts with complex geometries or sensitive surfaces.

Welding and Joining

Purpose: Joins SLM-built components to other parts or assemblies for larger or hybrid designs.
Types: Methods include laser welding, TIG/MIG welding, and brazing, ideal for integrating SLM parts with conventionally manufactured components.

Nitrogen Packaging

Purpose: Protects parts from oxidation and environmental exposure during storage and transport.
Types: Sealed nitrogen packaging to maintain material integrity.
